My name is Bliss , and I run the ranch with the help of my husband, Norman. We met as preteens on a hunting trip and kept in touch over the years untill we started dating in 2010. We were married in 2011 and had our beautiful daughters starting a few years later.
I grew up loving agriculture and hunting. I learned at a young age that there is a balance to raising animals and land that benefits them both and people. I thoroughly enjoy being outdoors and working with livestock and wildlife. I graduated with my Bachelors in Animal Science with a minor in Wildlife Management. I could talk ranching all day long and never tire of it, for it is my passion.
That being said, my family is my greatest joy. I have an amazing husband that is pursuing his own passion in the fire service. He has a great drive to serve and protect and I admire his dedication to his passion and always learning and improving his skills. He does so much for our family and others that I strive to learn and improve my skills as a rancher so we can have a healthy work - life balance.
We have three amazing daughters that we are blessed to be able to raise in the ranching lifestyle. Ranching teaches compassion, respect, responsibility, patience, confidence and a strong work ethic. We are proud of our girls and who they are growing up to be.
No matter how much I love the agriculture and ranching industry my husband and daughters will always come first. So that is where I will end this is with the word balance yet again.
Balance between animals, land, and people. Balance between work and life. Easiest way to balance is to Work Smarter - Not Harder.
